Inventory System
An electronics parts inventory for a hobby bench, not a warehouse.
Parts don't get used up here. A project holds them, and when you tear it down most of them come back.

A username and a password. It asks for nothing else.
Three numbers
| Owned | Everything you have, loose or inside a live build. |
|---|---|
| Held | Inside a project right now. |
| Available | Owned minus held. |
The bench, with two builds live
| Project | Held | Short |
|---|---|---|
| Weather station | 16 | 10 |
| Garage parking sensor | 13 | 2 |
Short is what a build asked for and could not get. It lands on the shopping list.
What it does
| Teardown | Say what became of every part: returned, soldered in, or broken. Only the last two leave your inventory. |
|---|---|
| Reopen | A teardown is reversible in two clicks. |
| Shopping list | What live builds could not get, plus anything you flagged, totalled per part. Download it as CSV or plain text. |
| History | Every quantity change logged with the balance it produced. |
| Duplicates | 10k and 10kΩ are one resistor. It spots them and merges them. 4.7k and 47k it leaves alone. |
| Paste import | A whole bin at once, one part per line. |
| Tags | Filter by one, autocomplete so typos don't split a group, rename across every part. |
Open source. Read the code on GitHub. Curious who else keeps a bin? See the roster.
